Bridal Portraits: Lois

Lois is officially married…which means I can FINALLY post her bridal pictures!! We took these back in April, so imagine how much patience it’s taken me to not show these before her wedding! We took them at a friend of her family’s gorgeous house. And for the record, Lois is a beautiful beautiful bride with some very lovely brown eyes…just sayin. Bridal: Keri

Meet Keri. A very beautiful, very excited, very funny, new wife. I met up with Keri back in April for her bridal session, and we had fun! At least I did, she had on a really heavy dress on a really hot day, but she trooped through it all! She also kept me laughing. Keri just got married this weekend so I can FINALLY put these up. I’ve been dying to put them up for a while. Keri, thanks for letting me do this photo shoot! I had fun and enjoyed looking at your beautiful dress over and over while I was editing!  Congratulations on being a Mrs.!!

Baby on the way: Lauren and Seth

Hey wonderful people! So can I just say that I love taking pictures? And I love editing? Do I love how long it can take me to get the picture exactly like I want it (especially since I’m a horrible decision maker-I live for the “I don’t knows”)-not really. But getting to look at adorable people like Lauren and Seth with her precious belly makes me happy and makes the long hours worth it. Lauren is probably one of the cutest pregnant women I’ve ever seen. They are having a little girl named Ella, and I can’t wait to meet her! Lauren came to the session with some great ideas and all of the props, which I was so grateful for! We did her pictures when she was 32 weeks-which is the best time to take maternity pictures. They also picked out great outfit colors-I love bright color, it’s always good for photo shoots! And for the record, they were troopers because the last 15 minutes or so of the shoot we battled drizzling rain, and literally right after we were done it began to pour! Lauren and Seth, thanks so much for letting me take pictures of you! I can’t wait to take pictures of your sweet baby girl!

Miracle Baby: Gray

Meet Gray. He is an adorable little boy that has already had quite an eventful life. When Gray entered this world he had a mountain to immediately overcome-breathing problems. His mom and dad had to listen as the doctor told them many times that Gray was going to have to have a trachea put into his throat. Amazingly enough, each time the doctor took Gray to get the operation done, Gray’s airway would open up just enough to keep the doctor from doing the procedure. The Lord was definitely working in little Gray’s life, as well as his mom and dad’s. They have really learned what faith means and understand what it means to truly rely on God. I’ve been blessed to know Gray’s mom for a while now, and I cannot think of a better example of a woman of faith. So naturally, I was more than thrilled to take pictures of this little miracle. There are also some of Gray’s two brothers, Luke and Jett-who are just as cute. Heather, you make adorable little boys, just sayin :) Eat your heart out ladies and gents!

So Happy Together: Lois and Jonathan

Well ladies and gentlemen, here it is, the official blog post of my shoot with the lovely Lois and Jonathan! Lois and Jonathan met when Lois started going to a martial arts class that Jonathan teaches along with some other of his family members. They also happened to go to the same church (my home church) and their relationship blossomed from there! These 2 were super easy to capture because they simply cuddled and had fun the whole session. What’s really cool is that I got to do Lois’ bridals (which you sadly won’t get to see until after the wedding), and I’m their wedding photographer! So blog fans, this won’t be the last you’ll see of this beautiful couple :) Enjoy!!
